She studied with Lester Horton and danced with Alvin Ailey. For over 60 years, dancer, Carmen de Lavallade has graced Broadway, Hollywood and The Metropolitan Opera, among many other venues, with her talents. At the age of 83, Carmen is “still going as far as she can”.
