Last fall, powerhouse agency IMG Models signed fashion editor, blogger, and wheelchair user with muscular dystrophy, Jillian Mercado. Mercado, who appeared in ads for Diesel back in 2014, and has been featured in a slew of editorial features, hoped that the move would inspire young women like her.

Mercado’s modeling career continues to flourish, now with a recent gig modeling the wares on Beyoncé’s official online shop.
