Costumes From ‘Black Panther’ Film Will Go on Display at Pittsburgh’s Heinz History Center.

Looks created by costume designer Ruth E. Carter for Black Panther are set to go on display at Pittsburgh’s Heinz History Center, as part of the exhibition Heros and Sheroes: A Ruth E. Carter Costume Retrospective.

The show is curated by Carter alongside Pittsburgh’s FashionAFRICANA founder Demeatria Boccella. It will feature costumes from some of the iconic films that Carter has created wardrobe for, including Selma, School Daze, Malcolm X, and more.

Heroes and Sheroes will debut at the Heinz Center in August, and then will go on to tour the world, leading up the 2019 Academy Awards.
