Charlie Belle is guitarist/songwriter Jendayi Bonds, her younger brother Gyasi Bonds on drums, and and Zoe Czarnecki, on the bass. The teen trio hails from Austin, Texas. Their sound can best be described as “indie pop rock.” The group formed in 2008, but over the past year, they have been attracting quite a bit of buzz, with features in MTV, Nylon, and Rookie, among other publications.
Their chill, modern sound is youthful, but wise beyond it’s years.
