New York based fashion designer Michelle Helene traveled to Cuba for her Fall 2017 collection lookbook, titled “The Winter of Our Life.”
The beautiful visuals, shot by Collette McGruder, feature knitwear, multicolored fur, and unique head pieces, worn by models Diane Villegas, Braulio Fabian Lopez Hernandez, and Luz Maria Collado Reyes (often considered Cuba’s first Black model).
