Zainab Jah is a British actress who has some pretty impressive credits to her name, including Law & Order SVU and A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Classical Theatre of Harlem.
Jah has been making waves lately as the first black woman to be cast by a major theater to play Hamlet in the famous Shakespeare play. Her run as Hamlet at Philadelphia’s Wilma Theater, which ends this weekend, has been met with rave reviews, even selling out on most nights.
