Michelle Obama Declares ‘Black Girls Rock!’ in Her First-Ever Appearance At the Event To Honor Black Women and Girls.

Michelle Obama Black Girls Rock

Michelle Obama was definitely the most celebrated guest at this year’s “Black Girls Rock” celebration held at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, New Jersey.

The First Lady delivered an inspiring speech, in which she stressed the importance of education.

There is nothing more important than being serious about your education. That’s why I am able to stand here tonight. I want every one of our black girls do to the same, and our black boys.

#MichelleObama is such a poignant speaker. We are moved! #BlackGirlsRock
