Just weeks after her 116 birthday, Jeralean Talley, a resident of Inkster, Michigan, and a Detroit native has passed away. Talley, who was admitted to the hospital and treated for fluid in her lungs earlier this week, returned to her home, where she died peacefully. Her daughter, Thelma Holloway, confirmed her passing.

Talley is survived by one child and 3 generations of grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are still pending.
