Whoopi Goldberg has always been candid about her love of weed. Back in 2014, the Oscar-winner penned an essay for The Cannabist about her love of her vape pen. She admitted that using the device to smoke marijuana helped her to deal with glaucoma and glaucoma-related ailments.

On Wednesday Goldberg announced that she had teamed up with leading marijuana entrepreneur Maya Elisabeth to launch a new line of medical-marijuana products aimed at treating menstrual cramps.

Their new venture, Maya & Whoopi, will offer cannabis edibles, tinctures, topical rubs, and a THC-infused bath soak that it describes as “profoundly relaxing.”

Whoopi also assures possible customers that the products will offer controlled doses that are much less than what a recreational user would indulge in.

“For me, I feel like if you don’t want to get high high, this is a product specifically just to get rid of discomfort,” she says. “Smoking a joint is fine, but most people can’t smoke a joint and go to work.”

“This, you can put it in your purse. You can put the rub on your lower stomach and lower back at work, and then when you get home you can get in the tub for a soak or make tea, and it allows you to continue to work throughout the day.”
