The Jamaican born photographer, curator and activist has a strong fine art background, her work spanning from Cosmopolitan mag to an exhibit at the famed Whitney Museum of Modern Art. She is especially committed to how women and black folks are visually represented in the mainstream, stating that “her main concern is the deconstruction of stereotypes and the empowerment of women.”
