Beyoncé’s Protégés Chloe x Halle score their first major magazine cover with Paper’s September 2016 “1000 Beautiful People” issue.
The talented sibling pair made their television debut in 2011 on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, performing a cover of their mentor’s hit single “Best Thing I Never Had.” But, it wasn’t until years later that they managed to catch the eye of Beyoncé and her Parkwood Entertainment company.
Back in 2014, teen talents Chloe x Halle went viral with an acoustic cover of Beyoncé’s hit song “Pretty Hurts.” After the sisters got a co-sign from the queen herself, who shared the video on her social media pages, it was pretty apparent the young songstresses were about to hit the big time.
In 2015, it was announced that Chloe and Halle had landed a $1 million dollar contract with Beyoncé’s Parkwood entertainment. Following their debut release and music video for “Drop,” and a cameo in Beyoncé’s LEMONADE, Chloe x Halle recently premiered a new EP, Sugar Symphony. The new release showcases the girl’s versatility and skill, straddling the line between pop and experimental. Stream it below.
