Last month we introduced you to the Zena Howard, the black woman architect behind the space age design of the Smithsonian’s newest museum, the National Museum of African American Culture.
Now via the Washington Post, we get an in-depth look at the museum’s interior, as well as a preview of what’s to come in terms of exhibitions.
The 400,000 square foot space, which officially opens its doors in September, features designated galleries focusing on slavery, the Civil Rights Movement, sports, entertainment, and even Black Feminism.
