Powerhouse indie producer and creator Issa Rae is looking to partner with emerging creators. Rae catapulted into popularity with her viral web series The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl and now she’s giving her fellow creators a major shot. Last year, Rae inked a deal with HBO to create a comedy series, “Insecure,” which is set to premiere sometime soon.
