After years of fans asking, Hulu finally listened. Living Single, the iconic black 90s series and inspiration for Friends is finally going to be available to watch online.

Living Single originally aired on FOX for five seasons, from August 22, 1993 to January 1, 1998. The series was produced by Yvette Lee Bowser’s Sister Lee production company, in association with Warner Bros. Television. It starred Kim Coles, Erika Alexander, T.C. Carson, John Henton, Mel Jackson, and Kim Fields as a group of young black singles living in a Brooklyn brownstone.
For years, fans surmised that Living Single served as inspiration for friends, Queen Latifah confirmed this in 2016 during an appearance on The Late Show With James Corden.
