Celebs turned out for Glamour Magazine’s 25th annual “Women of the Year” Awards held at Carnegie Hall in New York last night.
Stars like Viola Davis and Uzo Aduba kept things chic and classic on the red carpet for an event that was all about celebrating inspirational women. Jennifer Hudson treated attendees to a powerhouse performance.
Caitlin Jenner, this year’s honoree, saluted advocates Laverne Cox and Janet Mock in a moving acceptance speech.
Members of the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church, who survived the massacre at Charleston, this past June, were also honored. While on stage they emphasized the importance of forgiveness, stating “Forgiveness is power.”
