Rihanna takes her brand partnership with Dior to the next level with this sunglasses collection.
As we showed you yesterday, the pop star has been on a roll with her frequent fashion collaborations, working with brands like Stance, PUMA, and Manolo Blahnik.
In a series of images shot by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, she models selections from her latest collaboration with Dior, a sunglasses collection. She was named brand ambassador for the heavy-hitting fashion house last year, becoming one of the first black women to earn the title.
“[Rihanna] chose all the materials,” said Dior’s eyewear designer Mathieu Jamin. “We had a lot of different samples with different effect of metals. She chose all the lenses and took time to match all the colors together to see if it was right on her face. It was really important to her.”
The wraparound, mirrored style sunglasses hit stores in June, starting at $840 and going all the way up to $1,950 for the 24-karat-gold version.
