Solange recently sat down with Harper’s BAZAAR magazine for an exclusive photoshoot and interview in which she talked about her career trajectory and where she is now as both a musician, fashion icon and tastemaker. As for the tastemaker label, when it comes to her image, she says:
“I’ve always had an annoying relationship with the term ‘tastemaker,’ ” she explains, “but it’s been a defining part of my career for the past couple of years.”
