MAC Cosmetics just announced that its long awaited Aaliyah tribute collection will hit shelves in June of this year.

The Aaliyah-inspired collection will be available online at maccosmetics.com on June 20th and then in MAC stores across North America on June 21st.

MAC shared a sneak peek, a nude brown colored lipstick, inspired by a specific Aaliyah song.

This collection comes after years of diehard Aaliyah campaigning online for a tribute collection similar to the one MAC released for slain artist Selena back in 2015. Much like the Selena collection, there was even an online petition, with thousands of signatures, requesting an Aaliyah tribute collection.

MAC’s Aaliyah collaboration will feature unique metallic burgundy colored packaging and will include an exclusive selection of lipsticks and eyeshadows.
