Model, activist, and actress Chrystèle Saint-Louis Augustin was a runway staple in the early 90’s, walking for designers like Jean Paul Gaultier, and appearing in major editorials and ad campaigns.

While Augustin still hits the runway every so often, she’s also expanding her acting résumé. The 41-year-old model appears in the recently released French major motion picture Mon Roi, which stars iconic French actor Vincent Cassel.

Augustin plays the emotionally needy model ex-girlfriend to Cassel’s character who is embroiled in a tumultuous and complicated relationship with his current partner, played by Emmanuelle Bercot.

Last May, Augustin made a splash on the red carpet while promoting the Mon Roi at the Cannes Film Festival. Check out a trailer for the film, which opened in France this week, below.
