JP Morgan Chase has named Thasunda Duckett as the new CEO of its consumer bank. Duckett, who previously held the post as CEO of Chase Auto Finance, will report to Gordon Smith, CEO of consumer and community banking.
“T is an extraordinary leader and talent,” Smith said in a memo announcing Duckett’s appointment. “For anyone who knows T, you know she has both great IQ and EQ.”
Duckett, who joined Chase in 2004 and continued to rise through the ranks of JP Morgan Chase over the past twelve years, served as VP at Fannie Mae for 8 years before joining the company. She is a graduate of the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University.
