Bre Gipson is a sculptor and painter, based in Oakland, California who works in a variety of mediums. Her work features fractal-like images that mix nature, modern technology, and chaos.
According to the artist,
My work is inspired by nature’s wondrous and phenomenal occurrences; the perfect geometry of a crystal or the vibrant outburst of a rainbow. Mystified by the possibilities of what may or may not exist, I am interested in exploring the unknown and exploiting our changing beliefs of what is real. Constructed creatures and landscapes reflect the potentials of what could be and I create things yet to be discovered.
