Barbie Celebrates Black Fashion Designers with Harlem’s Fashion Row.

Mattel’s iconic Barbie doll has teamed up with Harlem’s Fashion Row to round up Black History Month by celebrating Black fashion designers.

Founded in 2007 by entrepreneur and motivational speaker Brandice Daniel, Harlem’s Fashion Row supports black fashion designers through brand partnerships , marketing, and new media. The organization’s latest collaboration with Barbie features designers like Hanifa, Kimberly Goldson, and Rich Fresh.

While the unique dolls won’t be available at any major retailers, you can score one at auction. Proceeds from the auction will go towards the ICON360 non-profit, created by Harlem’s Fashion Row.
