Stella Jean has been making quite a name for herself the past few seasons in the Milan fashion world as well as in the international market. The designer of Haitian descent is best known for her chic, expert use of African fabrics and prints. For the upcoming spring season, Jean decided to pay homage to her Caribbean roots with pieces featuring West Indian art and even a jersey for team Port-au-Prince, the capital city of Haiti. The collection also features mud cloth from Mali and beautiful fabrics from Burkina Faso.
