Kisua is a unique online market that creates capsule collections via collaborations with African designers. The collections are always expertly edited and lean towards minimalist cuts and bold silhouettes which make excellent use of traditional African fabric. The brand’s latest collection for pre-fall 2014 Hariri, meaning “edit” in Swahili is actually Kisua’s first collection conceived by its in-house design team. The graphic prints and architectural shapes are inspired by the large scale works of Burundi-born, South African artist Serge Alain Nitegeka.
