During her time as First Lady, Michelle Obama continues to be outspoken about the importance of education, especially for young girls. In addition to “Reach Higher, and her “Let Girl Learn” initiative, She recently unveiled a new website, BetterMakeRoom.org, which she hopes will be a hub of information for high school students who want to pursue a post-secondary education.
The site features a social media platform that allows people to share their stories, ask questions, and offer each other advice on college-related matters such as filing out financial aid forms, or taking the SAT or ACT.
“We want to create a space where young people can engage with each other, where they can inspire each other to complete their education beyond high school,” said Mrs. Obama.
