India Ross, a high school senior from St. Louis, Missouri is going viral after posting picture of her prom dress. Ross decided to channel Beyoncé’s jewel, semi-sheer 2015 Met Gala look, which came courtesy of Givenchy.
Ross, who plans to double major in Fashion Business and Fashion Merchandising at Columbia College Chicago this fall, says that dress cost $800 to make, with a little help from fashion designer Toi Hall, and her brother.
She’s posted quite a few images of the dress and even did her own version of Queen Bey’s famous “ponytail pose.”
Ross has also posted a message to the pop star, writing: “By the way, can I have the real Givenchy dress? I’m sure I could slay that one, too!” Hopefully she gets an answer.
