I’ve been dreading writing this post since I found out. The world is now without two amazing black women.

Domineque Banks, natural haircare guru and vlogger who was loved by many passed away on April 9th following complications brought on by Lupus. She was 27. Her family and friends are currently collecting donations to help with expenses.

Karyn Washington, founder of For Brown Girls and The Dark Skin Red Lip Project also passed away. She was 22 years old, and apparently committed suicide.

My thoughts and prayers are with the friends and family of both of these inspiring young women.
