Schiaparelli highlights the anatomical nature of its Spring/Summer 2023 accessories in this series of images shot by Alina Gross. The artsy Italian heritage brand has seen a major celebrity resurgence following a 2006 acquisition and a 2019 creative shake up.

Under the helm of current designer and creative director Daniel Roseberry, Schiaparelli rapidly transformed into the brand of the moment, with celebrities like Cardi B and Tracee Ellis Ross and Doja Cat regularly sporting Schiaparelli creations.

Earlier this year, writer and actress Michaela Coel wore a custom Schiaparelli piece to the annual Met Gala, while Beyoncé shined in a custom Schiaparelli at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

This latest collection recalls the 1930’s era collaborations between founding designer Elsa Schiaparelli and Spanish surrealist artist Salvador Dalí.

Shot by Alina Gross, each image highlights the human body as it relates to the artistry of Schiaparelli accessories.

“There’s feminine energy and masculine energy, and for me, they’re both always in play, and that’s the kind of energy I want the clothes to have. It doesn’t have to be one or the other,” Roseberry told the New York Times in 2019.
