It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of the Knowles sisters. Queen Bey and Solange as far as I’m concerned, can do no wrong. Not really, but I have mad love for them. As you all can remember, back in May the internet went ablaze when footage of Solange hitting rapper and brother-in-law Jay Z went viral. The memes and jokes were funny, but I’ve been waiting (with no judgement) to hear from my girl herself as to why?
My reaction to the Solange/Jay Z incident, playing my girls shit all day bc she was my girl before & she still is. https://t.co/PgwbwAgpDx

According to a “leaked” tweet, by no other than the folks at Lucky magazine, Solange will be their August cover girl and she speaks about the elevator incident.
The secret’s out! The amazingly cool and perpetually chic @solangeknowles is @LuckyMagazine’s August covergirl!
Solange states in her Lucky feature: “What’s important is that my family and I are all good. What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that.”
The statement she’s referring to:
As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it.”
Solange didn’t address the issue in detail as we’d like but at least she hasn’t ignored the incident completely. I guess her fans will just have to move on like she’s trying to do.
