Brought to you by New York filmmaker Jeremy Xido, “Death Metal Angola” follows Sonia Ferreira, a native of Huambo, Angola’s second largest city, along with her boyfriend Wilker Flores in their quest to stage Angola’s first National Rock Concert. The Angola hardcore scene was a natural occurrence in a country in the midst of reconstruction, following nearly 40 years of civil war.
